Get to know Flore

Rhi O'Hanlon, Byron Bay naturopath, walking through the Flore Naturopathy dispensary

Flore Naturopathy is an online naturopathic clinic rooted in Byron Bay, offering 1:1 consultations to women across Australia and worldwide. It was built on a simple but quietly radical idea — that healthcare can feel like sitting down with a friend who actually listens, who doesn't overwhelm you with everything that needs to change, and who meets you exactly where you are.

Every woman who comes to Flore leaves feeling heard, understood, and quietly encouraged. Not overhauled. Not overwhelmed. Just a little more connected to what her body has been trying to tell her all along.

Flore was created for women who have been quietly managing gut symptoms, cycle irregularity, or reproductive conditions that feels out of reach — and who are ready to do something about it without being handed an overwhelming protocol on day one.

You might be navigating IBS, SIBO, bloating, food sensitivities, post-pill acne, irregular digestion, or cycle issues that never quite resolve. You might have felt dismissed — by other practitioners, or by yourself — and what you need most is someone to take you seriously, explain what's actually going on, and walks alongside you as things start to change.

If this resonates, Flore was built with you in mind.

Rhi's Story
her approach

Rhi O'Hanlon is a degree-qualified naturopath and nutritionist holding a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy and a Bachelor of Nutrition, with extended research and mentoring in the gut microbiome. She practises from Byron Bay and consults with women across Australia and internationally via online video appointment.

Rhi's path into natural medicine wasn't purely academic — it was personal. Navigating post-pill acne, cycle irregularity, gut inflammation, and nervous system dysregulation in her own body gave her a level of understanding that goes beyond the clinic room. She knows what it feels like to quietly dismiss your own symptoms, to feel let down by practitioners who don't quite get it, and to eventually find your way back to trusting your body again. That lived experience shapes every consultation she holds.

Her clinical focus sits at the intersection of gut health, skin, and the gut-mind connection, with nervous system regulation woven through everything she does. She has a particular depth of knowledge in the gut microbiome — its role in digestion, immunity, skin health, mood, and how it responds to the demands of modern life.

Rhi's approach is foundational and additive. Rather than stripping everything back and asking you to start from scratch, she builds — layering in support gradually so your body has the space to integrate and respond. The basics always come first: restoring digestive function, strengthening the microbiome, supporting the nervous system, and giving your body the conditions it needs to do what it's innately designed to do.

She blends modern evidence with traditional plant medicine, working across herbal medicine, clinical nutrition, and mind-body medicine to create treatment plans that are considered, individualised, and genuinely sustainable.

This is not a practice that will make you feel like everything you've been doing is wrong. It's one that will help you understand why your body has been responding the way it has — and show you that moving beyond the cycle of feeling puffy, inflamed, and reactive is entirely possible from exactly where you are right now.
